Beijing Financial Street and feng shui

Feng shui always has been used and will be used in China. Now the principles of feng shui are applied in the construction of many new buildings, in urban planning and inner design.

An interesting example in nowadays Beijing is the modern Financial Street, which is built on the same location of the old banks (金城坊) during the Ming & Qing Dynasty in Beijing.

    In front of one bank building at Beijing Financial Street, there is a fengshui sculpture with the purpose of "attracting money from all eight directions":

    You can see the lucky numbers 88, the 'plus' + sign. The sculpture is in the ancient form of 'ding' for bringing stability. They say that after putting this sculpture in front of the bank, in 2 years this bank accumulated billions of money, much more than it was expected... Of course, they probably had a very good and successful management. If the management is bad, even a good feng shui cannot help.
